The Chef's Table - A Bespoke Dining Demonstration
Available in the East Neuk or by special arrangement

Our Chef & Host will come to your home to create a delicious 3-course lunch for you and your guests (party of up to 8), while you observe, ask questions and perhaps enjoy a bottle of wine!
Afterwards, we'll email you the recipe so that you can recreate the meal yourself!
No need to worry about shopping - we'll bring ingredients to your home.
During our peak season, bookings are taken no more than 14 days in advance

Cooking On Ice - Delicious Meals For Your Freezer

Available in the East Neuk
Our personal chef will visit your home, cook up a storm, and fill your freezer with delicious meals.

The E-Kitchen - Consultation From The Head Chef

James, Head Chef at The Elemental Kitchen can provide consultation for your unique project. He's previously created menus, recipes and provided bespoke consultation for both the hospitality industry - eg cafes, coffee houses, farm shops and visitor centres - and private at-home clients.

We can arrange in-person or virtual consultations with James - bespoke recipes, menus, techniques and general guidance. Our aim is to welcome and encourage our clients to get in touch, whether you are looking for advice, inspiration, a fresh new cafe menu, a frozen food range, or a special recipe or menu for an upcoming dinner party.

In addition to face-to-face meetings, from own kitchen table, we can respond to unique queries and tastes by providing a personalised guide. James can work with you via email, phone/skype.

Of course, every occasion is different but for your convenience, please see below, two Elemental Kitchen bespoke hospitality packages (examples only), based on varying groups and requirements. Please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your own unique requirements in more detail and to arrange a bespoke quote.

We may be able to provide discounts for extended service, local (East Neuk) occasions and very small groups.

AN ELEMENTAL OCCASION (For 12 guests or fewer)

Approx £250 per day
Approx £200 per day for Chef Only

Includes the following Chef & Host or Chef Only service, as required:-

Breakfast; continental or full cooked

Informal lunch; picnic, sandwiches, buffet or cooked one-pot style

Afternoon Tea; cake can be served with lunch or, for those of you spending the day out, an afternoon tea station can be arranged for self-serve later in the day.

Dinner; canapes, 3 courses, cheese board, tea & coffee

Grocery shopping, as necessary

Our daily rate is inclusive of :-

typically up to 10 hours service each day, between 7am and 11pm.

advance preparation; up to 5 hours menu planning, client correspondence, grocery orders etc

Our daily rate also applies to :-

set up / arrival day (travel, shopping, dinner if required)

departure day (breakfast if required, kitchen clear down, travel)

Our rate excludes:-

groceries
mileage @ 50p per mile
other necessary travel expenses - eg ferries/flights/transfers

Maximum guests:-

12, inclusive of children

An Elemental Occasion - Additions

Please also let us know if you also wish to add the following;

simple & nutritious kids tea;

2 course formal lunch; (inclusive of dessert or starter)

additional unspecified hours may be charged at an hourly rate

Note re Chef Only assignments: We request that clients provide their own front-of-house/kitchen assistant, as necessary. In holiday properties, this can usually be arranged with the housekeeping manager.

AN ELEMENTAL GATHERING (for 13 - 26 guests)

Approx £250 per day
Approx £200 per day for Chef Only

Includes the following Chef & Host or Chef Only service, as required:-

Breakfast; continental or full cooked

Packed lunch; sandwiches & snacks for daytrips, ready to take away after breakfast

Afternoon Tea; a warming cup of tea/coffee and cake can be set up for easy self-serve as guests return from daytrips

Dinner; 3 courses, cheese board, tea & coffee

Grocery shopping, as necessary

Our daily rate is inclusive of :-

typically up to 10 hours service each day, between 7am and 11pm.

The Elemental Kitchen – Booking, Payment & Cancellation

We typically request a deposit of 50% of the total fee to confirm and secure your booking. On receipt of the deposit, we will confirm your requested dates and your booking will be secure. Please don't hesitate to contact us to request a copy of our policy.

The E-Kitchen - We'll send you a step-by-step guide to your Chef's Table experience (by email), with shopping list, recipes, key pointers, notes and reminders from the demonstration. If you wish, we'll also include a telephone/skype consultation (up to 15 minutes), to answer any of your cooking queries, ensuring that you'll be able to confidently recreate an Elemental Experience.
20% discount - The Chef's Table, Cooking On Ice, The E-Kitchen and The Elemental Kitchen - Bespoke Hospitality (for party of up to 8). Applies to EK experiences taken within the 3 month subscription.
